Championships at St. Andrews
A dynamic new exhibition has been unveiled at the British Golf Museum to celebrate the 'St Andrews Open Championships 1946-2005'. This exciting display coincides with The Open Championship being held in St Andrews in July 2005.
The world famous painting, The Golfers by Charles
Lees is on display at the British Golf Museum for the next
two months. The painting is on loan from its permanent
home at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery. Visitors
have a rare opportunity to see it in its home setting,
St. Andrews until the end of July.

Six stunning new interactive displays have been unveiled
at the British Golf Museum! Each interactive paints a unique
picture of a different aspect of the game and takes the
visitor on a fascinating journey of discovery with the
players, places and past events of golf.
A new display has been unveiled at the British Golf Museum
to accompany an exhibition celebrating The Royal and Ancient
Golf Club's 250th Anniversary. The display features gifts
presented to the Club during the recent celebrations.
The British Golf Museum in St Andrews has reopened in time
to help its near neighbour, The R&A, celebrate 250 years
of its golfing history. HRH The Duke of York, Captain of The
Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, officially opened
the new shop and reception area in the museum.

Changing face of The British Golf Museum
Last week, the British Golf Museum began work on its biggest
refurbishment project in its 13 year history. It will
be necessary for the Museum to be closed to the public
while this work is being done. The Museum staff are planning
many exciting changes for visitors in the year ahead.

The world's most famous painting of golf, The Golfers, is
now on display in the Museum. It has been loaned to the
Museum for 2 months only, by the Scottish National Portrait
Gallery.
