The British Golf Museum is offering FREE entry to all visitors from Saturday 22nd until Sunday 30th November, as part of the St Andrew's Festival Week celebrations.

This 5 star, award-winning museum has something to entertain all the family. Golf enthusiasts will love watching rare black and white footage of the oldest known golf match played in 1898, or selecting footage of their favourite golfer in our Open Championship coverage from 1923 until 2007. Come to the museum and you will see the oldest known set of golf clubs in the world, dating back to early 18th century. Or you can compare your golf grip to one of the greats against our bronze casts of players such as Jack Nicklaus and Nick Faldo.

Children can follow our trail around the galleries and at the end of the visit, dress up in period golf clothes and practice putting with replica clubs and balls from the last 175 years.

Entry is free all week and the museum is open from 10 am to 4 pm daily. A visit here will make the perfect break from playing golf.
