The explosion of interest in golf towards the end of the 19th century saw a dramatic rise in the demand for art with a golfing theme. Various examples of such work can be seen in this gallery.

The clubhouse rapidly became the focal point of the golf club, around which the club’s social life rapidly developed. Here, items relating to a variety of clubhouses and events relating to these are on display.
